Approximately 90 Flights Linked to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airports
A review has uncovered that approximately 90 flights linked to Jeffrey Epstein allegedly landed at and took off from British airfields, with some allegedly carrying British women who assert they were abused by the found guilty child sex offender.
Aviation Records Reveal Pattern of Movement
These aviation records were among a trove of court documents and papers released by Epsteinâs estate that have been disclosed over the last year. The investigation identified 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein â featuring many that were previously unknown â arriving or departing from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel
Unidentified female passengers were documented among the travelers entering and exiting the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights took place following Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a child.
âThis is âshockingâ that there had never been a âcomprehensive British inquiryâ into his activities in the country,â stated US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Court Cases
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epsteinâs accomplice socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. But, that victim has never been contacted by British law enforcement, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police said they had ânot received any further evidence that would support restarting the probe.â They added, âShould new and relevant information be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.â
Ongoing Document Release and Judicial Decisions
A bill to disclose all files held by the American government in regarding Epstein was approved by the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. Hundreds of thousands of files are anticipated to be released.
Additionally, a US judge decided last week that the DOJ could disclose evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
